SSC: Then and Now

Austin Jarrett, our founder, started SSC Laser back in September 2000 alongside Julian Till, who is still with us today as our production manager. We were working in small portacabins in Hixon, West Midlands. Working with one Bysprint 3015 4.4kW machine, It was a small start, but with our confidence in the company, it wasn’t too long before we were seeing quick progression.

Fast forward to 2023, and after a restructure in 2020 to realign our business with our values, we have gone from strength to strength, with investment in state-of-the-art machines and technology, boasting three Bystronic flatbed lasers, three Amada press brakes and two tube lasers, Adige and Bystronic. Giving us the capacity to continue growing while still offering our existing and new customers exceptional service.
