What’s the old adage? New Year, New Start? Well, that’s what three new members of the SSC team can say as they started new roles with us at the beginning of the year.
With over 20 years’ experience and a rich background in senior sales management and business development within the manufacturing and global supply chain industries, new Lead Business Development Manager, Paul Smith, is the perfect fit for his new role with SSC.
Paul’s exciting new role is to help, support and coordinate SSC’s external Business Development Team. As the new Lead Business Development Manager, Paul aims to set the standards for the field sales teams, standards that will help differentiate SSC from the competition.
A keen advocate of continuous improvement, Paul is already working on initiatives and ideas to further improve the already high standards at SSC with new development plans and training programmes for field bases managers to realise the highest levels of professionalism and competency.
When asked why he decided to join the team at SSC Paul told us, “I was impressed with the companywide attitude towards high levels of customer service, the ambition to grow the business nationwide and the high levels of investment in state-of-the-art equipment, new facilities and people”.
The team at SSC always want to be at the forefront of everything we do, giving our customers the best products and customer service, second to none. With this in mind, we welcome new Business Development & Account Manager, Scott Donnelly to the team. Scott joins SSC with over 20 years’ experience within the steel manufacturing markets and will be responsible for the business development in Scotland.
Passionate about the industry, Scott has already won various best salesman awards in his previous roles due to his valued added mindset at the forefront of all his customer relationships. Scott is really looking forward to the challenging demands of the Scottish market, and can’t wait to get started to push the growth of the region to new levels.
Last but not least, Sally Hodgkiss joins SSC as a Sales Estimator bringing a wealth of experience and knowledge with her built up working within customer service and sales roles in a wide range of industries. Sally is really looking forward to working with the fantastic team at SSC and can’t wait to bring her methodical and friendly style of customer service to the forefront of her client relationships.
